The OMM Core Zipped Vest is new concept in insulation for active use. The vest is made from ultralight and packable PRIMALOFT ACTIVE and is designed to be worn under a wind blocking shell jacket. With a full length zip and warm draft excluder collar, this is a great mid-layer that provides plenty of additional warmth without having to carry round a bulky extra jacket.

OMM's CORE range uses PRIMALOFT ACTIVE, an extremely high loft synthetic fibre mesh. Its distinctive 'fluffy' look is a by product of the high volume, open structure of the fabric. This is extremely effective at trapping warm air and moving moisture away from your body. We find that CORE products work best under a light waterproof in cold and wet conditions or just a light windproof in cold and dry conditions. CORE is an incredibly effective insulator but thanks to near-total air permeability, the lightest breeze can take away that heat. This allows you to keep your Core layer on even when you have warmed up and you can thermoregulate by removing/unzipping your shell.
