The Katadyn Micropur Forte MF Tablets are a water disinfectant which uses chlorine to kill bacteria, viruses and Giardia. It takes 30 minutes to be effective against bacteria and viruses and 2 hours for Giardia. The tablets also contain silver ions to work with the chorine to preserve water quality for up to 6 months. Designed for use with a filter if the water is turbid or alone if it is clear.
