The Arcteryx Beta Insulated Jacket is a warm GORE-TEX waterproof and breathable jacket for all round mountain use. The 40 denier 2 layer GORE-TEX provides a durable waterproof outer with the same performance as Arc'teryx's classic Beta shell jackets. The Coreloft Continuous insulation layer is breathable when working hard and will keep you warm, even when wet. The Beta Insulated jacket is a versatile outer layer dutiable for cold weather hiking, mountaineering and skiing.

The Beta Insulated jacket features a 2-way water resistant main zip and a helmet compatible StormHood that will go over a climbing or ski helmet. There are under arm pit zips for extra ventilation while working hard. An embedded RECCO reflector aids search and rescue (RECCO is a casualty recovery system. When skiing or travelling an avalanche prone terrain we recommend carrying a proper transceiver). There are two water resistant zipped hand pockets, inside the jacket is a zipped security pocket and a large dump pockets for ski gloves or other large items.
